I’m going to be selfish. 

I’m going to be selfish and I’m going to take care of myself before I take care of everyone else.

I’m going to be selfish and tell people who hurt me to fuck themselves, tell people that take advantage of me that I know what they’re doing, I always have, and they too can fuck themselves. 

I’m going to disappear and reappear as I see fit. 

I’m not going to call out of obligation, I’m not going to visit. 

I’m going to stop apologizing for when I feel like shit.

When I am sad and someone tells me that my sadness is weakness, I’m going to explain that it’s made me more human and that is powerful. 

I’m going to get up early in the morning just to breathe the air before everyone else.

I’m going to sleep as much as I want. I’m not going to fight through being tired for anyone, not anymore. 

I’m going to let my room get messy when I need comfort.

I’m going to play my dad’s guitars and buy expensive records.

I’ve lived for other than myself my whole life and I can’t live that life anymore.
